I love playing with alcohol inks and textures. This vibrant colorful abstract has a lot of texture. I used gold fabric paint to outline an abstract tree form and the abundant dots and circles were created by sprinkling coarse salt onto the inks while they were still wet. I have always been drawn to rainbow colors and this painting does not disappoint. This is an 11×14 cradled clayboard panel. It is ready to hang without a frame as I tinted the sides with liquid gold leaf leaving a beautiful subtle sheen. The painting has been varnished with several coats of UV protectant, but please keep away from directly sunlight to ensure that the vibrancy of the inks is long lasting.
