I first learned about these heart paintings from a wonderful artist and instructor, Amanda Evanston. There are many variations of these heart paintings and I put my own stamp on them by using alcohol inks to make the colorful hearts. The background and blue patches are acrylic paint to set off the vibrancy of the inks. I have always been drawn to hearts and heart art. It truly is a pleasure to be able to create ” heart art” with my own hand. This is an 8×10 canvas ready to hang. It has been varnished with UV protectant, but please keep away from directly sunlight to ensure that the vibrancy of the inks is long lasting.
