Sometimes when you paint, you get into a zen-like state. Painting this garden was one of those times. The alliums are made up of hundreds of tiny dots – it takes a lot of patience and many layers. I love how this turned out with its three-dimensional quality. This colorful and whimsical floral was painted with alcohol inks with my signature white twirly marks. It is painted on an 11×14 cradled wood board and as you see, the painting is continued on all four sides. It is ready to hang and will definitely add a colorful aspect to your decor. The painting has been varnished with several coats of UV protectant, but please keep away from directly sunlight to ensure that the vibrancy of the inks is long lasting.
